The compact and easy-to-install software displays a selected Communicator contact’s main calling numbers and allows them to be dialed via the snom telephone with a mouse click. The SCUPA Basic Edition can be downloaded free of charge. SCUPA Business Edition is designed for business environments and contains numerous additional functions such as telephone configuration via the Communicator, locking and unlocking or transfer of personal contacts to the telephone. SCUPA bridges the gap between PC communications and workstation telephones and is thus a further reason for using snom telephones into Office Communications Server (OCS) / Lync environments. SCUPA Pictures FEATURES SCUPA Basic Edition Users have access to all OCS, and Exchange/Outlook contacts via Communicator / Lync. New numbers can be entered into the Communicator's/Lync search field. All of a Contact's Numbers at a GlanceSCUPA displays the main stored numbers as well as SIP URI contact data for the selected contact. Phone Call by Mouse ClickWith SCUPA, users are able to initiate and terminate calls by their desktop IP telephone with a mouse click on the context menu of the Communicator / Lync. Easy ConfigurationA configuration screen enables fast and easy selection of the user's IP telephone. 64-BitSCUPA can run on 32-bit and 64-bit platforms.
SCUPA Business Edition Easy Log-onEmployees can use a configuration template to quickly and easily log-on to any desktop IP telephone and personalize the telephone. This means that employees can be reached on their personal calling number on any telephone. Automatic Lock and Unlock of the IP TelephoneDepending on the set-up of the client PC, SCUPA can lock or unlock the user's IP telephones and thus offer protection from unauthorized use. Export Contacts to the IP TelephoneSCUPA can export personal Outlook contacts to the IP telephone via a single mouse click. These are also available on the telephone when the computer is switched off. Forward CallsWith SCUPA Business Edition, calls can be forwarded directly or with an announcement via a mouse click. Corporate DesignSCUPA can be completely adapted to any corporate design. Central AdministrationNo additional server component is required. SCUPA can be distributed and configured via centralized software distribution systems.
Why SCUPA? SCUPA is a compact software product that enables the integration of snom® telephones into OCS / Lync environments. The bundle of SCUPA and snom® telephones is a strong alternative to the expensive Nortel / Polycom Tanjay. SCUPA is particularly suitable for use in enterprise environments with many workplaces as no server component is required and it can be distributed via central software distribution systems. SCUPA can also be modified to suit the individual requirements of the company. How much does SCUPA cost? SCUPA is licensed per user. With a purchase quantity of more than 2,000 licenses, the price will be calculated using a project price, that will be negotiated for the individual customer.
